Course Overview
Our JLPT N5 program is designed for complete beginners who want to build a strong foundation in Japanese language. The course covers grammar, vocabulary, kanji, reading, listening, and everyday communication skills needed for the JLPT N5 examination and daily life in Japan.
What You Will Learn
Grammar (文法)
- Basic Japanese sentence structure
- Essential particles (は, が, を, に, で, と, も)
- Verb forms (present, past, negative, ます-form)
- Adjective usage (い/な adjectives)
- Requests, permissions, and simple expressions
- Describing people, objects, and places
Vocabulary (ことば)
- Daily activities, time, numbers
- Family, school, workplace words
- Shopping, transportation, food, weather
- 800–1,000 commonly used words
Kanji (漢字)
- Mastery of 100–120 basic kanji
- Reading common signs, menus, and daily-use words
- Writing practice for essential characters
Listening (聴解)
- Understanding everyday conversations
- Listening to slow, clear Japanese
- JLPT-style question practice
- Identifying key information (time, place, actions)
Speaking & Conversation (会話)
- Greetings and self-introduction
- Asking and answering basic questions
- Expressing likes, routines, and simple requests
- Practical role-plays (shopping, station, school)
Reading (読解)
- Hiragana & Katakana mastery
- Reading short passages and simple texts
- Basic comprehension of daily-life notices and signs
Daily Class Structure (2 Hours Per Day)
- Grammar: 40 minutes
- Vocabulary: 20 minutes
- Kanji: 20 minutes
- Listening: 20 minutes
- Speaking/Conversation: 20 minutes
